About this Course:

This one-day training program will give you powerful techniques for harnessing time & living a more balanced life. Using Murabbi’s characteristic fusion of classical faith-centric wisdoms and contemporary management research, the program will give you the skills and tools to make your days more effective and will enhance your ability to perform and achieve more in your life.

Time Management is about designing the right architecture in your schedule, allowing you to take out ‘time-stealers’ and wastage, and enhancing your time perception capabilities. It makes you realise that great people also had only 24 hours in their day, and allows you to take more control of your time and hence your life. 

Peak performance is about finding your optimal performance mode and holding on to it. Many people talk about 'being in the zone' or 'being in their element', but few understand why this happens and how to find this when you need it most. This element of the course trains you to understand the key factors that produce peak performance so that you can find it when you need to. These factors range from biological clocks, environmental dynamics, goals-focus, physio-spiritual balance, diet, positive self-talk and other motivational drivers.

Mamoon Al-Azami

Mamoon is Director of Global Community Development at Murabbi Consulting, and has over 30 years of training experience.

He was previously a Senior Community Development Specialist at the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Jeddah, having served for 20 years as one of their leading trainers. He has travelled widely to over 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East & the Americas delivering leadership & training sessions to NGO and multi sector audiences.

His previous career roles included local government positions in Manchester city and Hackney (London) councils in the community development space. He has also been instrumental in building multiple faith based community institutions and educational networks in the UK, Middle East and Asia. 

He speaks four languages fluently and holds four UK degrees including BA (Econ), MA (Econ) from the University of Manchester. 


Junaid Ahmed 

Junaid Ahmed is a senior management professional with experience in leadership development, HR, corporate services, business, strategy and community development. He has extensive experience and involvement in the third sector and charitable organisations.

After his BSc, he completed his Executive MBA – being awarded distinction for his work on Organisational Development and Performance Management. Professionally he has over 10 years of management, leadership and training experience within the third sector, and has various accreditations including the Adair ACL and MBTI (Myers-Briggs) practitioner qualification. 

He has also been involved in the field of education – having led a unique faith based project to help improve educational attainment levels amongst pupil in mainstream educational institutions. Previously he was engaged in delivering capacity building and network management programme to community organisations. He also has considerable business and executive experience as an entrepreneur having directorships on the boards of several SMEs within the health and fitness, media and publication, and the food retail industry. 

Junaid has enormous interest and passion in the field of community and people development. He currently serves on the boards of trustees in various organisations including ELATT (a specialist training centre dedicated to helping people achieve their full potential) and Citizens UK (a powerful grassroots charity working for social, economic and environmental justice). 

In the past he has served as the president of a national youth organisation and has spent some time in Middle East studying Arabic and introduction to religious sciences. He is the author of the forthcoming publication – ‘Striving for Excellence – a faith centric approach to Performance Management’.
