A Chartered Business Psychologist, Facilitator and Executive Coach, Faiza brings over 18 years of experience supporting organisations and leaders as they navigate significant transitions. Faiza’s grounded and commercial approach is built on a strong foundation of both consulting across various business sectors and FTSE 100 companies as well as experience working in-house within the financial services sector.
Faiza’s core values are Creativity, Compassion, Curiosity and Connectedness and she is passionate about creating cultures where people can live fully, find meaning through their work and a sense of belonging and a place in the world with their colleagues. Much of her recent work has been focused on supporting small to medium sized entrepreneurial organisations to connect meaningfully to their purpose and values. She works with leaders in these organisations to understand how they can be of service and supports them in nurturing vibrant and adaptive cultures that will allow the organization and the eco-system of which it is part, to flourish. With her deep training in psychology and group dynamics, Faiza helps leaders think systemically and holistically, to work faster through difficult strategic, operational, political and cultural challenges. She is known for her astute insight, honesty and willingness to bring sensitive issues out into the open so that sources of tension or conflict can be transformed into creative opportunities.
Faiza is particularly proud of her work supporting a six-year culture transformation as part of a business turn-around at Old Mutual, a £13.7 billion international investment, savings, insurance and banking group with over 16million customers and 56,000 employees worldwide. Her work involved using the Barett Methodology to embed and align high-performing values-driven culture to an ambitious strategy and vision, that placed the customer at the heart of the organisation’s purpose. The Old Mutual Story has been recognised as a best practice case study by Barrett Values Centre and the Financial Reporting Council.
Faiza has a BSc (Hons) in Psychological Sciences an MSc in Occupational Psychology and is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and Health and Care Professionals Council. She is also a partner Trainer with BVC.
Faiza is a proud mum of three and in her spare time, she enjoys painting, art and interior design. Faiza volunteers as a psychotherapist providing therapy at a London based charity supporting marginalised women. She also supports refugees in finding a safe home, from which they can begin to rebuild their lives.
